Working as a therapist is more than a job for me, it’s my purpose.
Growing up, I was drawn to work that focused on helping people, whether it was through nursing, law enforcement, advocacy, or ultimately, therapy. But it wasn’t until my first son was diagnosed with a rare cognitive delay that I truly found my purpose. I know firsthand the gaps families experience in navigating the complicated systems, appointments, planning and placement teams, and support services for their child. These gaps shaped my commitment to support individuals, families, and children, especially as they begin developing life skills and tackling daily challenges.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in meeting people where they’re at and creating individualized, strength-based pathways for progress and growth. I believe in the power of patience, creativity, and persistence—whether it’s helping a child express themselves for the first time or watching someone find new ways to connect with others, those small wins generate huge impact.
We’ll draw from modalities like DBT, Gestalt, and person-centered therapy and find the mix that feels best to you. At the same time, we’ll create a diverse set of resources and strategies to help you face challenges with confidence and get you where you want to be. Progress doesn’t happen alone.
I’m excited to bring my perspective and energy to the work we’ll do together—you’ll always have someone in your corner.
